About Me
People are usually surprised to find out that I was born and raised in California and lived there for all but my medical education. Eventually I went to medical school in Colorado and found myself moving even further East to seek out quality full spectrum Family Medicine training out here in Oklahoma. I have been proud to call Oklahoma my home for the last few years and look forward to doing so for more years to come.
I have been lucky enough to be able to join the amazing team at Prairie Garden Medical to take care of Johnson H. Johnson residents, as well as do what I have always wanted to do: start my very own DPC practice!
Outside of the medical clinic, you may find me practically anywhere – I may be going on outdoor walks at local parks with my dogs, playing volleyball, holed up at home watching TV shows or playing video games, practicing the piano, trying out a new cooking technique or recipe, or practically anything! Although medicine is a large part of my life, I devote the other part to enjoying all the little things life has to offer!
About My Practice
Direct Primary Care, or DPC for short, is a rapidly growing primary care model that simplifies your relationship with your doctor by omitting the 3rd party insurance companies. Instead, patients pay a monthly fee to attain full access to their physician – in short, this means as many visits or contacts as needed for you to be taken care of.
Direct Primary Care has always been something I wanted to be a part of because it transfers the power to make decisions from the insurance companies back to the physician and the patient. It also allows physicians, like me, to properly build relationships with their patients through extended office visits and contacts as necessary. We also don’t have to worry about nearly as many administrative things like billing, prior authorizations, etc., which in turn allows us to focus on you.
